It certainly sounds like something I'd enjoy. As I spent an enjoyable week in 2011 the Midlands, that's another factor in its favor. Most of all, I haven't seen enough of Anton Rodgers, and so I've put the series on my Amazon Wish List, and will wait impatiently for the holidays, and those all important gift cards to arrive. Thanks so much for suggesting it!Dragon Davehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08086520095836955243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-773203794540000241.post-67928803818967188802014-10-02T02:52:46.222-07:002014-10-02T02:52:46.222-07:00You obviously enjoy the cosier aspects of English ...You obviously enjoy the cosier aspects of English TV, and if you haven't already found it then a series called "Murder Most English" will certainly appeal. Made in the 1970s it stars both Anton Rogers (May to December) and Christopher Timothy (James Herriot) as two coppers in a small Lincolnshire market town. The series is out on DVD here, but may be hard to find in the US as I don't believe it was ever repeated anywhere.joppyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06334867727613848852noreply@blogger.com
