Pamela Isley will always have a love/hate relationship with Gotham. It's not where she came from. Still, it's where she started down the path toward the person she would become. Her friend, Harley Quinn may find a way to live amid a city that seethes with corruption. Yet Pamela cannot tolerate how civic leaders and corporations exploit the Green.
For a time, Pamela Isley sought balance. She tried to build a better world, starting with Gotham. She sought to breathe life into the dying city, and transform it a vibrant symbol of harmony between people and nature. But, like so many reformers, Pamela made mistakes. And when she stepped on too many toes, all the people who enabled Pamela to become Gotham's mayor turned against her.
The Bad Seeds event represents the triumph of Human greed over the need for conservation. It highlights selfishness on all sides. Yet, people risk their lives to protect others, despite the chaos unfolding around them. And not all these heroes wear masks, capes, or costumes.
