Uh oh! I think we're in trouble. The Toxic Avenger seems determined to take over comic shops this summer. It all starts with The Toxic Avenger Pinup Special hitting shops this Wednesday, May 14. Ahoy is bringing out Toxie Teamup #1 in June, and The Toxic Avenger Comics #1 in July.
All this comics is paving the way for an action-packed Toxic Crusaders beat 'em up videogame from Retroware and the highly anticipated Cineverse theatrical release of The Toxic Avenger film starring Peter Dinklage as Toxie on Labor Day weekend. So, to paraphrase Lindsey Buckingham, I think we're in trouble. Or should that be Troma?
