She uses a phone to share her photos on social media, and composes her application on a laptop. After she has printed it off, she summons an owl using her witch's cauldron. Naturally, the owl gives her its business card, should she wish to use its services again.
Elyse Castro's story addresses how our relationships with our parents and friends change as we get older. It shows how Claire must assess the best options for her career. The enchanting story and art also demonstrates how, even in a magical world of talking animals, social media and popularity affect our emotions and influence our decision-making.
