Melvin is a reclusive world famous painter. Myran is an irrepressible teen who takes photographs to understand the world around her. Melvin's wife, June, brought the two opposites together. Then she disappeared from their bed in her sleep. The duo have tracked June to Mitchell Evans' company, Modern Living Corporation. His company makes the artificial intelligence that powers Myran's pet panda, Petunia.
