Many years ago (or at least before Covid-19), a comic shop worker recommended the Resident Alien comic series to me. I always pay attention to the recommendation of comic shop employees. After all, they see everything the publishers release each week!
The Dark Horse Comics series has proven popular among far more than voracious readers and comic shop workers. Like Hellboy, the series has transitioned from comics to Hollywood. If you couldn't attend the Resident Alien panel at San Diego Comic-Con, here's a snapshot of what you missed:

At San Diego Comic-Con, Resident Alien stars Alan Tudyk, Sara Tomko, Corey Reynolds, Alice Wetterlund and showrunner/executive Chris Sheridan pulled back the curtain on the fan-favorite series, discussing the current fourth season and debuting a sneak peek at tonight’s episode airing at 10 p.m. ET/PT on USA and SYFY.

About: Based on the Dark Horse comics, “Resident Alien” follows a crash-landed alien named Harry and his life on planet Earth. The fourth season starts with Harry and his baby Bridget stuck in prison on the Grey Moonbase, while a shape-shifting Alien called a Mantid has taken over his body on Earth passing himself off as the real Harry Vanderspeigle. Harry manages to escape the Greys and arrives back on Earth for a showdown with the Mantid Alien but soon finds he may not have what he needs to finish the job. Asta and D’arcy struggle to keep a secret from Ben and Kate, who are both desperate to find answers to what has been happening to them. Sheriff Mike and Deputy Liv attempt to solve some mysterious deaths in Patience that Sheriff Mike is beginning to think aren’t caused by anything human.
