Fatigued and heartbroken after her battles with the Sovereign and the Mouse Man, Diana returned to her homeland. But when she sought rest and rejuvenation, her sisters began to fight among themselves. While they quarreled over who could be look after Elizabeth, they also battled their fears concerning Diana. After all, their emissary to the outside world hadn't wanted any of them to help her when she battled the Sovereign for the future of the people. Instead, Diana had tried to push them away so she could bear that burden alone.

While the Amazons fought amongst themselves, Eris grew stronger. The goddess has planted the seeds of disharmony on Themyscira. How will her actions bring about the Wonder War? And are Earth's greatest heroes doomed to fall before the Matriarch's blade?
