Last week, a family emergency prevented me from taking long, considered looks at new stories. But I'd been itching to review this trade for some time. I reviewed the first two issues when they came out, and posted short rereads for the first four issues last summer. So I found it calming to focus my mind on this familiar story as my wife and I made the long drive to visit a family member in the hospital. Perhaps it's apropos, as this story forces Brissa and Conan to confront the suffering and loss of their kin.
Here's a preview of this first volume in Titan's new Conan saga. Enjoy!
