Westerns were all the rage when I was growing up. Bonanza, Gunsmoke, and of course, The Wild Wild West were favorites. Ironically, the church leader who got me interested in Conan The Barbarian introduced me to Sergeo Leone. Strangely, he refused to take me to the cinema to see John Milius' Conan movie. (I was old enough, really!)
