Emperor Aquaman #22 Preview

After participating in the Omega Tournament, Arthur Curry wields unprecedented power. He uses it to defend Atlantis and build an empire of interstellar outposts to prepare for Darkseid’s return. Yet, others worry that a mortal is unfit to control such power. So, when Poseidon demands control of the Blue, Arthur must battle his god to retain his powers.

But while he’s away, Lolanna’s forces attack Atlantis. And after spending much of Mera’s life as a statue, Lolanna has the Sea Witch turn Arthur’s subjects into stone. Now that she controls Arthur and Mera’s undersea realm, what are Lolanna’s plans for Atlantis? And after his mother-in-law destroys the portal, how soon can Arthur return to Atlantis?
