Hawkmoon: The Mad God’s Amulet #1 Cover Preview

Cover A: Claudia Caranfa

Duke Dorian Hawkmoon had rallied his troops. He had swept through the Granbretan Empire's invading army. But when Baron Meliadus held a sword to his father's throat, Dorian Hawkmoon surrendered. As the former Duke of Köln, Baron Meliadus thought Hawkmoon could be his pawn. He sent Hawkmoon to abduct Yisselda and force Count Brass to surrender his province. Instead, Hawkmoon fought to repulse Meliadus' invading army.

Hawkmoon didn't save the Kamarg alone. Nor could he have defied Baron Meliadus' control without Councilor Bowgentle's help. But few people understand the lost arts and sciences of their world. Bowgentle's use of Magience bought Hawkmoon breathing space. But to break free of Meliadus' influence before he can fry his mind, Hawkmoon must find someone with a greater understanding of the stone embedded in his skull.

Can Dorian Hawkmoon find the sorcerer Malagigi before Maliadus breaks through Councilor Bowgentle's protection? And where must Hawkmoon travel to free his mind?
