Friday July 25, 2025 at 10am, at the Omni Hotel in San Diego, John Bruno, Academy Award Winner for The Abyss, Visual Effects Supervisor for Avatar, Terminator 2, Titanic and True Lies to speak at Comic Con on a panel presentation.
The topic will be “Graphic Novel Production and Pitching” and is moderated by Allen Ling, Publisher and Creator with Genseven Creations and co-owner of Heavy Metal International. The discussion will cover the actual production and cost factors that go into Graphic Novels, as well as recruiting artists and letterers, and the pros and cons of a DIY Graphic Novel. Other experts may be present to describe the process of pitching projects to studios and production companies, and the obvious barriers involved in networking.
This panel is a MUST SEE for anyone embarking upon, or planning to embark upon, the journey of creating a graphic novel with hopes it could become a movie or TV series. Allen will also present solid advice to protect your intellectual property and your integrity.
