I enjoyed walking the exhibit floor yesterday evening. Here's a little of what I saw:
The Titan Booth was humming. Lots of people were checking out the Conan, Solomon Kane, and other show exclusive covers. Plus, they had lots of books for sale. I'm looking forward to today's Conan: Scourge of the Serpent panel.
Upper Deck was showcasing their Superman love.
The Pokémon exhibit was eye-catching, to say the least. For some reason, it reminded me of 2001: A Space Odyssey. (Or Princess Leia holding a thermal detonator).
The kids loved the Minecraft booth.
Everyone can find something they love at the Funko booth.
IDW had plenty of books for sale, including books I've reviewed like Star Wars, Godzilla, and TMNT. They also had two pinball machines.
The preview night was well attended, and offered one scenic wonder after another. Hopefully, all the artists and exhibitors are pleased with the turnout. I'll share more from the exhibit hall, and the presentations at SDCC, as time permits.
Thanks to the SDCC press office for allowing me to share all the excitement with you.
