San Diego Comic-Con: Scenes from the Exhibit Hall

 

I haven't reviewed any of the Invincible trades, as Skybound has kept me busy reviewing Transformers, GI Joe, and Universal Monsters. But fans love the original comic series and the new TV show on Amazon. Skybound always brings lots of cool merch to SDCC. Fans were checking it out on preview night.

 

 

If you're a fan of Mythic Legions, you can play it at SDCC. I'm not sure I'd want to battle this guy. But if you're attending this week's convention, you might be able to purchase his action figure.

 

 

Tiago the tiger seems more my speed. I don't know how the Zoo Jitsu character and Lion-O would get on. But I enjoyed reviewing the Thundercats series from Dynamite Comics, so Tiago and I might get along.

 

 

Godzilla is huge right now. I've enjoyed watching his recent Monsterverse movies, and reviewing IDW's Godzilla comics. Yesterday's IDW panel was packed, so I decided to give up my seat to one the folks waiting to get in. As you can see, fans wanted to get into his exhibit on preview night.

 

 

Gundam has a big 30th anniversary celebration going on right now. They're booth was packed! If you are a fan but can't attend SDCC, check their website for specials!

 

 

Speaking of seats, this looks right up my street. I'd love to have one of these in my home. I'm not sure about the tribbles, though. Captain Gabriel Lorca liked them aboard the USS Discovery. Maybe they liked fortune cookies?

Oh, for Kirk's sake! I'll take the tribbles if they come with the chair!
