Ohana means family, and San Diego Comic-Con International truly felt like an 'ohana' gathering as Disney's beloved Lilo & Stitch brought its unique brand of aloha to this year's convention! Fans flocked to multiple out-of-this-world experiences offering 'cool' photo opps, treats, and behind-the-scenes bonus content with the talented cast who brought this beloved story to life in the new live-action blockbuster.
An electrifying panel, "A Look Inside the Continuing Phenomenon," was met with thunderous applause from a packed 2,100+ audience. Key talent from the film including Chris Sanders, Tia Carrere, Maia Kealoha and Sydney Agudong shared heartwarming anecdotes and behind-the-scenes insights into the creation of Lilo, Stitch, and the vibrant world of the film. Hosted by the amazing Denny Directo from Entertainment Tonight, the panel delighted fans with early concept stitch art, hilarious outtakes, and a never-before-seen look at the relationships that gave Disney’s Lilo & Stitch its distinctive charm.
San Diego International Comic-Con goers and local fans alike caught the wave with Disney’s Lilo & Stitch at this fun, family-friendly activation, and best of all, no badge was required! Guests cooled off with island-inspired photo opps that transported them straight to the Hawaiian Islands, and enjoyed a sweet taste of paradise with free shaved ice and dole whip served daily. Unnecessary cuteness was guaranteed as families and fans embraced the spirit of aloha.
The summer mega hit and billion-dollar box office milestone Disney’s Lilo & Stitch is now available on Digital for everyone to buy or rent at home and arrives on 4K UHD/Blu-ray/DVD August 26.
